We celebrate the release of our Technique Summer 2017 compilation with a playlist from Rampage Festivals’ head honcho Murdock. Get your ears around this, it’s killer! Pre-order the full album

1. Drumsound & Bassline Smith – Can You Feel It
Straight up roller and you can’t beat these guys at that. The vocal hook is classic, even cliche, but that just adds to the effect it has. You can’t mess with the classics, you know? The bassline just grabs you by the hips and dumps you on the dance floor.

2. L Plus – Carbon
The breakdown is only a few bleeps, that have just the right melody and are placed perfectly, in such a way they get the whole place lifted instantly. Excellent work.

3. Drumsound & Bassline Smith – Outlaw Renegade
The guys have made a string of tracks that all have these steppy, slightly distorted, but very natural sounding drums, and big ass Dillinja-esque basslines, and I love all of them. Cobra, Testify, The Truth… But Outlaw Renegade is my favourite.

4. Tantrum Desire: Pay Your Own Way
Great vocal hook, massive stabby melody and great drop. I have played this track countless times and I still do.

5. Technicolour – Good News Green (Drumsound & Bassline Smith remix)
That little, typical garage-style organ bass sound gets me every time. Whether it’s in a garage tune or a soul track, or in a drum & bass roller like this one here. Classic!
