Gunman / Destructive

Look out. Take cover. Technique’s newest signings come correct again here with two hulking, swaggering slices of hybrid dance floor napalm.

They’ve only been around a minute, but the Midlands’ Dub Foundation have already carved out their own little niché in drum & bass, epitomised perfectly on this release.

Both tunes feature pounding, shuffling, half-speed breaks and the kind of low-end frequencies that get internal organs shaking. Somewhere between dubstep and drum & bass, these moody hybrid monsters earmark Dub Foundation as ones to watch in 2010, no question.
